TRADITIONAL CLOTHING OF THE MONGOLIAN PEOPLES IN THE CONTEXT OF
MANCHU INFLUENCE: HISTORY AND MODERN EXISTENCE

The article analyzes the features of the formation of traditional clothing of the Mongolian peoples in the context of Manchu-Mongol cultural interactions. Based on written sources, visual materials, and ethnographic data, the structural elements of the costume and the associated terminology are examined. Particular attention is paid to the stable names of clothing items that continue to be actively used in modern cultural and linguistic practice. A conclusion is drawn about the multi-vector nature of historical borrowings and the significance of traditional costume as a living element of cultural identity in modern society.

This article analyzes the development of traditional Mongolian clothing in the context of Manchu-Mongol cultural interactions. Based on written sources, visual materials, and ethnographic data, the article examines the structural elements of costume and associated terminology. Particular attention is paid to the established names of clothing items that continue to be actively used in modern cultural and linguistic practice. It concludes with a multifaceted approach to historical borrowings and the importance of traditional costume as a living element of cultural identity in modern society.
