The article provides an overview of the scientific events of the IMBT SB RAS in 2025, analyzing their topics and goals. The authors note that traditionally, the institute’s program of scientific events, on the one hand, responded to specific demands of scientific and, more broadly, socio-political life in the Republic of Buryatia, Russia, and the world, and on the other hand, actualized the scientific legacy of leading scholars – employees of the IMBT SB RAS.

This article focuses on scientific events of the Institute for Mongolian, Buddhist and Tibetan Studies of the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences in 2025, analyzing their topics and goals. The authors note that traditionally, the instituteʼs program of scientific life has responded to specific scientific and, more broadly, socio-political needs in the Republic of Buryatia, Russia, and the world, while also honoring the scientific legacy of leading scholars of IMBT SB RAS.
